Granny’s Attic

Granny’s Attic, located on the third floor of the main house, is the largest bedroom in our Lubbock TX lodging. The room is named after Lunie Myrtle Fleming, David’s paternal grandmother. Granny’s Attic has an antique claw-foot tub in the private bath, as well as a wonderful view of the Texas Tech campus. The bed is a king-size bed. Lunie was affectionately called “Granny” by her 7 grandchildren and her 15 great-grandchildren. The room is complemented with many of Granny’s items including a needlepoint upholstered chair. A king-size bed and couch that makes it into a full-size bed also complement the room. Granny’s Attic is also home to a 1917 telephone belonging to David’s great-grandparents, Nat and Josie Fleming.

Rates at $159-$259 a night. Additional people after two, $25 a person per night.
